4. Blockchain-specific considerations

Certain event data is written to a blockchain, which is by design append-only and not easily alterable.

• Once written on-chain, information may not be removable.
• We minimize directly identifying personal data in blockchain entries and rely on references / hashes where possible.
• Off-chain records may be updated or corrected, but older on-chain entries remain part of the historical record.
