Turn your expertise
into verifiable trust.

As an approved authenticator, you become a trusted entry point into The Watch Seal network — creating official records for high-value watches, assigning owners, and earning ongoing royalties every time your work underpins a resale or re-authentication.

Verified profile

Apply with full identity, credentials, and two character references. After admin review and a phone interview, you gain access as a Watchmaker / Authenticator.

Detailed inspections

Record technical specs, condition, and serials for case, bracelet, movement, clasp, caseback, and box — backed by high-resolution photos for every key angle.

Blockchain entries

Each authentication you perform is written as a signed block containing watch metadata, owner ID, and your authenticator ID, linked into the watch’s immutable history.

Revenue share

Earn a percentage of tokenized royalties for initial authentications and future re-authentications or ownership transfers built on top of your work.

Onboarding process

A professional-grade verification pipeline.

The Watch Seal is designed for serious watchmakers and boutiques. Before you can authenticate pieces, we verify that you are exactly who you claim to be.

  • Submit personal details, address, and contact information.
  • Upload ID documents (front & back) and a profile photo.
  • Provide watchmaking credentials or equivalent certification.
  • List two character references with verifiable contact details.
  • Optionally add business name, address, website, and registration.
  • Complete a short phone interview; admin sets APPROVED / REJECTED.
Your responsibility

Once approved, every authentication you sign is part of someone’s asset history. The platform provides the tools; the judgement and accuracy come from you.

  • Inspect watches physically — no “remote only” authentications.
  • Record serials, condition, and photos that truly match the item.
  • Never reuse old photos for a new visit or owner.
  • Flag anything suspicious instead of forcing a verdict.

In return, you get a permanent signature on every piece you certify, and a share in the economic value every time that work is used in the future.
